SKIN AESTHETICS BY WIOLA

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, mechanical exfoliation treatment suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, delicate, and allergy-prone skin. Using a specialised device with a diamond-tipped head, our expert gently moves the head across your skin, removing dead skin cells from the surface. These exfoliated cells, along with any impurities, are suctioned away, leaving your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. The intensity, depth, and head size are carefully tailored to your individual skin needs, ensuring a safe and effective treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PREPARATION

While microdermabrasion is gentle, it may not be suitable for those with active skin infections, open wounds, rosacea, or severe acne. It’s also not recommended for anyone undergoing certain skin treatments, such as strong chemical peels, or those using retinoids. To prepare, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and exfoliating products for at least 48 hours before your appointment. It’s best to come with clean skin, free from makeup or heavy skincare products. If you’re unsure whether the treatment is right for you, we’re happy to offer personalised advice.

OUR RESULTS

This treatment is £70.00 for a 45 minute treatment - We recommend it as a one-off or in a set of treatments (the number of treatments is based on your individual preferences and skin condition).

aftercare

After treatment, your skin may feel slightly tight, with mild redness or sensitivity, which typically subsides within a few hours. It’s important to keep your skin hydrated and avoid using harsh products, such as retinol or acid-based skincare, for at least 48 hours. Protect your skin by applying a high-SPF sunscreen daily, as your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight. Avoid hot showers, saunas, or strenuous exercise for the rest of the day to prevent irritation. Your practitioner will provide tailored aftercare instructions based on your skin type.

treatment results

Results can be seen immediately, with your skin appearing brighter, smoother, and more even in tone. For those targeting concerns such as acne scars, blemishes, or signs of ageing, a course of treatments may be recommended for optimal results. Regular sessions can help reduce fine lines, improve skin texture, and boost collagen production. Your practitioner will discuss the best treatment plan for you, whether you’re looking for a one-off glow-up or a more intensive skin-rejuvenating course.
