Lynton Lumina is a medical-grade Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system designed to safely and effectively treat a wide range of concerns, including unwanted hair, active acne, pigmentation, redness, and overall skin rejuvenation. Using advanced light-based technology, Lumina delivers controlled pulses of energy into the skin to target specific concerns while stimulating collagen production for clearer, smoother, healthier-looking skin.

TREATMENT INFORMATION

Lumina IPL works by delivering precise light energy into the skin, where it is absorbed by pigment, blood vessels, or bacteria depending on the treatment area. For hair removal, the light targets melanin within the hair follicle to reduce and delay regrowth; for acne, it helps destroy acne-causing bacteria while calming inflammation and regulating oil production. The treatment is quick and relatively comfortable, often described as a mild warming or snapping sensation, with sessions tailored to your skin type and concern. A course of treatments is typically recommended for optimal, long-lasting results.

AFTERCARE & RESULTS

Results develop progressively over a series of sessions. For hair removal, you can expect a gradual reduction in hair growth, with regrowth becoming finer and lighter; for acne, skin appears calmer, clearer, and less inflamed with continued improvement over several weeks. Mild redness or warmth may occur for 24–48 hours post-treatment. Aftercare includes wearing daily SPF 30–50, avoiding sun exposure, heat treatments (such as saunas and steam rooms), and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours, and pausing active skincare products like retinol or exfoliating acids for 5–7 days. With the correct course and maintenance plan, Lumina IPL delivers long-term hair reduction and visibly clearer, healthier skin.
